In his state-of-the-industry remarks, RAB President/CEO Gary Fries took time to caution the industry to focus on accountability.
“We need to look at all facets of our business operation: our sales; how we sell; what we deliver to the advertiser; do the spots run as ordered?
“Are they logged properly and getting billed properly? Are the advertisers getting what they want?
“I want to this industry to stand tall,” he said. “Be prepared for a rapid onslaught of advertisers wanting checks on accountability as far as the money they spend with you and what they get back.”
