Thurl Ravenscroft is dead. The actor, who worked in radio in the 1930s, became known to modern audiences as the voice of Tony the Tiger in Kellogg’s TV ads. He’s also known to late baby boomers as the voice that sang “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”
