House Kills Attempt to Revive Fairness Doctrine

The House late Thursday, June 28, smacked down the Fairness Doctrine.

By a 309 to 115 vote, lawmakers voted to prohibit the FCC from requiring stations to
balance conservative content with liberal programming, or vice versa, The Hill reported.
