WHOV(FM) in Virginia is using a Telos Hx2 digital phone hybrid.
Telos Systems noted the sale and offered a little bio on the station: “As the voice of Hampton University in Hampton Roads, Va., WHOV had its beginnings in 1941 as a carrier current station, but in 1964 ’HOV became the first educational FM station licensed to a historically black college. Today, WHOV broadcasts jazz and gospel music 24 hours a day, enhancing audience participation with their new Telos Hx2 digital telephone interface.”
