This is part of a new product family called Studio Essentials. It uses the same hardware as the Telos VX Duo broadcast phone system. The company highlights it for small size and silent fanless operation. The product was introduced at the spring NAB Show.

“Altus SE allows customers to enjoy the many benefits of the company’s popular Axia Altus virtual mixing console in a form factor that prioritizes simple, straightforward deployment and installation.”

Features include a browser-based mixer for remote events and contributors. A base Altus SE license includes eight faders and can be expanded to up to 24 faders in four-fader increments via buyout-style licenses.

“Customers seeking a simple and hassle-free means of adding WebRTC can subscribe to a pair of SaaS offerings, including a Telos Alliance AWS-hosted Spotlight Server and STUN and TURN services available directly through Xirsys.”
