I remember years ago covering an event at XM and amid the press releases and other material we were given was a pamphlet about XM’s relationship with a national bone marrow donor program (www.marrow.org). That was when I found out that Hugh Panero’s wife had cancer.
Now that Elizabeth Edward’s cancer has returned, Panero has penned an eloquent article for The Washington Post about what his wife, Mary Beth Durkin, and their children have lived through.
