Mayah Communications is introducing a new family of audio codecs at IBC this year. The lineup includes 14 different models that designed to be stackable and to fit into half of a 19-inch rack. They all provide audio-over-IP with SIP/RTP and support automatic optimization of the IP connection.
In total there are more than 16 coding algorithms available for the C11 family: from G.711/G.722 and MPEG Layer II/Layer III to MPEG-4 HE-AACv2 and AAC ELD. For more in-depth installations, the C11 offers extensive support of linear (PCM) audio and transparent AES3 over IP, as well as optional apt-X/Enhanced apt-X range at ISDN or IP.
Additionally, all the C11 codecs provide line inputs and outputs for mono or stereo signals, as well as AES/EBU in/out including ancillary data transmission. External devices can be controlled remotely via opto in/relay out interface.
