Co-working office provider WeWork believes in playing music at the office in order to set the mood and promote productivity. So it should be no surprise that the company has worked with iHeartRadio to create a custom station for that purpose.
According to the iHeart blog, Work Radio will launch as a Live station (categorized as “Perfect for Work”) on Tuesday, June 14. It will be streamed at all of the WeWork co-working locations.
iHeartMedia also plans to offer a new entrepreneurial podcast later this summer, which will be live-streamed on Work Radio. It will then be available on-demand, like a traditional podcast.
Additionally, the WeWork New York headquarters will add a new recording studio, built by iHeartMedia and accessible to WeWork members.
