iHeartMedia announced that its iHeartRadio app has a newly redesigned look on the Xbox One console.
This is because it is now offered on the Universal Windows Platform, so all of the company’s Windows 10 apps will have a new look, according to a blog post.
This change is not just about looks. The shift to UWP means that gamers can listen to HeartRadio while playing their favorite game because of the new Background Audio feature.
The company says that the update includes improved browsing, which shows stations based on location and genre. Additionally, My Favorites Radio is available as a personalized station.
