If you’re a country radio broadcaster, especially a marketing and promotions director, submit your station’s entries for the 2009 Radio Humanitarian and Promotions Awards, given at the 40th annual Country Radio Seminar (AKA CRS 40).
Each award has a small-, medium- and large-market category. Winners get their trip to the seminar covered including airfare and hotel.
The Humanitarian Award is given to a station “for efforts to improve the quality of life in communities they serve.” Entries, no charge for submissions, consist of a description of the campaign (text and photos) that had to have taken place between Nov. 1, 2007 and Dec. 31, 2008.
To be considered, you submit a brief written presentation that can include photos; submissions should be e-mailed to humanitarian@crb.org.
The Promotions Award is for best country music promotion from this past year.
