Infinity Names New Programming VPs

Infinity Broadcasting promoted Greg Strassell to senior vice president of programming, effective March 1. He was VP of programming for WBMX(FM), WODS(FM) and WZLX(FM) in Boston, and Infinity’s vice president of hot AC programming. Additionally, he has served as program director for WBMX since its 1991 inception, and WODS since 2001.
Prior to joining Infinity, Strassell was vice president of programming and product development for American Radio Systems, and helped to launch hot AC, CHR, classic rock and alternative formats.
Jon Zellner will take over as vice president of programming for hot AC stations. He had held the position for CHR/top 40, which will now be filled by Mike Preston, program director for KBKS(FM) in Seattle. Zellner will continue to serve as vice president of programming for Infinity Kansas City, and program director for KMXV(FM) and KSRC(FM).
