Hoping to attract clients that don’t already use radio, Infinity Broadcasting has created an in-house group designed to develop radio marketing platforms for such clients. The broadcaster also hopes to persuade current advertisers to increase spending.
The group is operating under the name Infinity Solutions & Beyond. Members work with clients to create packages that use Infinity’s stations as the core of their media campaigns while also including promotions such as live events, in-store programs, “guerilla” tactics and outdoor.
The group has created campaigns for companies including American Express, AOL Time Warner and Daimler Chrysler.
David Goodman, executive vice president of marketing for Infinity Broadcasting, oversees the group, and it will be run by Richard Lobel, executive vice president of ISB.
Infinity said ISB was also instrumental in striking a multi-million dollar, two-year marketing alliance with AOL for Broadband.
