The 9th edition of the International Radio Festival will take place in Valetta, Malta (the “European City of Culture 2018”) from Oct. 25 to Nov. 4.
The international broadcasting conference, which was launched in Zurich nine years ago, showcases business, production and curation of audio/radio content.
The IRF event brings together industry leaders from the world of broadcasting and audio production, and features more than 25 international radio stations broadcasting their programs live-on-air to their peers and home audiences worldwide.
“We are delighted to have been invited by the government of Malta to partner with them to celebrate Valletta, the European City of Culture 2018,” said IRF Festival Director, Darryl von Däniken. “Together we will demonstrate the power that audio delivers in the overall media mix.”
von Däniken says the IRF “offers a place of knowledge sharing, networking and forming both analog and digital audio strategies for the future, not just for broadcasters, but also for the music and advertising industry.”
