Kenwood Starts to Ship Sirius Product

Kenwood USA has begun to ship its first satellite radio head units to retailers, including five from its Excelon line. Kenwood is shipping a total of nine different head units compatible with the subscription digital radio service planned by Sirius Satellite Radio. Retail prices begin at under $300.
The so-called “black box” receivers that would actually receive the Sirius signal can be hard wired to the new head units and are expected to be available this summer when Sirius begins its service.
