Kiwi FM is taking its indie/alternative/new music show, "I.A.N.," on the road.

Host Fleur Jack is hosting "The Kiwi Mash Up," free Friday-night performances in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch that feature some of the indie-alternative bands featured on the show.

"We're going to record a song or two from each of the bands. I'll be playing those tracks on I.A.N. over the following weeks and asking our listeners to vote for them through the Kiwi FM Web site," Jack said.

The New Zealand Rockshop is along for the ride — and they've put up a package worth NZ$3,000 for the act that gets the most votes.
