Media executive Maureen Lesourd has been named senior vice president/general manager of Lincoln Financial Media’s Miami cluster, including adult contemporary WLYF(FM), classic hits WMXJ(FM) and sports WAXY(AM/FM). She will fill the vacancy left by Jeff Dinetz in April.
Lesourd comes to LFM from broadcast technology company LDR Interactive, where she was chief revenue officer. Her career includes 20 years as a successful general manager in markets including New York, Los Angeles, Washington and Detroit.
“My career has afforded me the opportunity to work in all aspects of the broadcasting industry, from radio, syndication, and network TV to new technology,” said Lesourd. “I hope to apply this experience with the Miami crew to help the cluster grow in a positive and productive way for the staff, the listeners, and our advertisers.”
