Audio/video rental provider Poll Sound will supply Listen Technologies Corporation wireless audio products for any guests needing auditory assistance at each of the ten
Winter Olympic venues this February.
“We are so excited our products will be able to help people hear the events and activities of the games,” said Russell Gentner, President of Listen Technologies Corp. “There will be over 400 people utilizing Listen receivers and headsets at the different venues.”
The Listen LR-300 Digital Receiver is a 72 MHz radio frequency assistive listening device that will be available to anyone needing auditory assistance at the venues. To meet American with Disabilities Act guidelines, the Salt Lake Olympic Committee will broadcast the venue sound with Listen’s LT-700 Stationary Transmitters so that anyone with a Listen device will be able to hear the event play-by-play with their own units.
