The Live365 Internet radio network said it has signed deals with the big performing rights societies to offer discounted Internet licenses to some of its broadcasters.
“An Internet broadcaster can now come to Live365 for all of their needs including bandwidth, hosting and performing rights licensing that authorizes them to stream stations from their own Web sites,” the company said.
The monthly fee for eligible broadcasters will be $38 or $48 to cover licenses from ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC. The company called it a bundled one-stop shop for the licensing customers may need to extend their Web presence beyond Live365.com.
