Those eligible to apply for the first group of low-power FM stations the FCC is accepting applications for have more time to submit their paperwork. The commission has extended the filing deadline until Thursday, June 8. The deadline for filing electronically is 11:59 p.m. Eastern and 7 p.m. for those filing paper applications.
The original deadline, June 5, was extended because of computer problems at the commission.
