Bill Marimow, former managing editor for NPR’s national news and former editor for The Baltimore Sun, will become editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Marimow previously worked for The Inquirer for more than 20 years.
He replaces Inquirer editor Amanda Bennett, who will leave the paper at the end of the year.
Marimow for a short time was NPR’s ombudsman.
