The Consumer Electronics Association says FCC Chairman Kevin Martin will be featured in the Industry Insider Series as part of the 2008 International CES, which returns to Las Vegas Jan. 7–10.
Martin will join Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CEA, for a discussion of issues relevant to the consumer technology industry such as the digital television transition, the upcoming 700 MHz spectrum auction and broadband deployment. Martin’s session is slated for the morning of Jan. 8.
Additionally, show organizers said it will be the first time all five FCC commissioners have attended a CES show.
