Mediabase Will Publish Airplay Charts in USA Today

Mediabase –- part of Premiere Radio, which is part of Clear Channel –- will print weekly airplay charts in USA Today beginning Aug. 8.
Mediabase will publish a page of information with charts in 12 formats: Mainstream Top 40, Rhythmic Top 40, Urban/Hip-Hop, Country, Modern Rock, Active Rock, Adult Rock (Triple A), Smooth Jazz, Mainstream Adult Contemporary, Hot Adult Contemporary, Latin and an overall Canadian chart.
The company’s Rich Meyer stated, “Growing the Mediabase brand on a consumer level will be beneficial to the industries we serve, particularly in terms of fueling new music and artist awareness.”
