Greater Media New Jersey says syndicated host Bruce Williams will celebrate his 32nd year in broadcasting on the air from the WCTC(AM) studios on May 15.
The host is scheduled to do his network radio show from 7 to 10 p.m. to commemorate the anniversary of the day he began his broadcasting career at WCTC in 1975.
“Bruce was a mayor in Franklin, New Jersey [when he] came to our former longtime general manager Tony Marano, asking him to do a talk show,” said Bruce Johnson, WCTC program director. “Tony put him on the air a couple of hours on selected week nights.”
Williams went on to work at WMCA in New York before accepting a position as a talk show host at NBC Radio in 1981. He is on some 400 stations in the U.S., Canada, Guam and the Caribbean now.
