Morris Goes With Sage From SCMS

Gets ready for the EAS CAP deadline

Morris Communications purchased a combination of Sage Alerting Systems Endecs and Multistation Relay Panels from dealer SCMS for its EAS CAP conversion.

The order was placed by VP of Operations Jay White.

Doug Tharp of SCMS handled the transaction.

The group has stations in Alaska, Washington, California, Texas and Kansas and is standardizing on the Sage platform. The radio operation at Morris originated with two stations in Amarillo, Texas, and two in Topeka, Kan., which were acquired in 1995 with the purchase of Stauffer Communications. It now has 34 stations and two networks, according to its website.
