The Washington studios of the Voice of Russia, the state-owned broadcaster, are using an Axia Livewire audio over IP system.
As part of the network, Voice of Russia has a new Axia Element control surface, a PowerStation engine and assorted nodes and software needed to run the operation. The Voice of Russia’s Moscow main facilities also are Axia-equipped.
The sale was handled through TRACT, Ltd. of St. Petersburg, an Axia rep.
Axia has made inroads into Russia, according to a release, with “Moscow’s Business-FM, Lagardere’s European Media Group radio stations in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and eight Radio Russia stations in Orenburg, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Yaroslavl, Rostov na Donu, Samara, Kursk and Ekaterinburg” using the company’s gear.
