Rep firm Clear Channel Katz Advantage wants to get radio more national ads.
In order to do that, the division, which also works with chief marketing officers, brand managers and media buyers on behalf of 11 other large radio groups, is expanding.
Its president, Bonnie Press, told reporters this week the division is nearly doubling the size of its marketing staff to some 40 people. It also plans to open offices in more markets, like Atlanta and San Francisco. Seven offices are open now, according to Press.
The group aims to help media buyers understand multi-platform radio, which includes online, on-demand, mobile text/real-time data and digital broadcasts.
In addition to Clear Channel, 11 radio groups are financing the expansion, said Press. No figures were released.
