Musicam USA said its codecs were used on several recent prominent events.
RoadWarrior and Suprima IP codecs were used on remotes that covered a World Trade Center Sept. 11 broadcast by WINS(AM) in New York as well as BBC coverage of the U.S. Open tennis tournament in Flushing Meadows nearby.
They were also used by B-Sky of the United Kingdom to cover the Taylor vs. Pavlik boxing match at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J.
At each event, remotes were broadcast over IP using MPEG Layer II, the company stated.
