NAB Asks: ‘What’s Working for You?’

Association seeks ideas from the field

The National Association of Broadcasters has put up a tool on its site that lets stations share success stories. Radio and television stations can post press releases or links to news stories that show off successes of a station, group, network or market.

“NAB is encouraging stations to use the newly launched resource, and to share successful revenue generating strategies or charitable fundraising initiatives with other broadcasters,” it stated.

This might include fresh ways to bring in new revenue, ideas to prevent layoffs, unique way to keep costs down or new opportunities created through technology, the association states on its site. “We would like to highlight your station or company’s great work in our newsletters, conferences and programs.”

Stations that submit by Sept. 30 will be entered into a drawing; the winner will get two nights’ hotel and complimentary registration for two to the 2010 NAB Show next spring.
