New DAB Radios Featured at German Consumer Show

Eureka-147 digital radio technology will be featured at a convention booth which WorldDAB Forum, marketers for Eureka, will share with Initiative Marketing Digital Radio, the industry association responsible for the coordination and implementation of DAB in Germany.
IFA, a consumer electronics show, starts this week in Berlin.
Attendees will be shown 100 DAB products, twice the number of two years ago, according to the groups. Features such as pause, rewind and record will be on display. DAB radios with Electronic Program Guides and large screens are coming onto the market, as are products that can double as MP3 players.
The WorldDAB Forum and IMDR expect dual DAB/DRM receivers to arrive at stores soon; these products will be highlighted during IFA as will DAB-based applications used to deliver mobile video and multimedia content.
