A new U.K. radio launch, JACK fm Oxfordshire, recently debuted with a 15 percent market reach and a 5 percent share, making JACK fm the No. 2 commercial station in the market.
With its music policy of “Playing What We Want,” the station has garnered much attention following its launch just nine months ago.
“In market after market, and now on both sides of the Atlantic, the JACK brand values and listening experience continue to be positively received,” said Ken Benson, international licensing manager for SparkNet Communications.
“Much like more traditional CHR, Hot AC and AC formats, the JACK brand of variety hits appear to be a recipe for success when properly targeted to the local market.”
