The Dover Historical Society, homeless since 1977, signed a 25-year lease with the First Presbyterian Church of Dover for use of a former doctor’s house as a museum and headquarters. The building, historically known as the Dr. Arthur W. Condict house, is located next to the church.
The third floor will house the newly established New Jersey Radio Museum, which showcases New Jersey radio stations such as Dover’s former WRAN(AM) and the current WMTR(AM) and WDHA(FM). The historical society is looking for individuals and organizations to make donations toward the renovation of the house.
For information on how to make a donation, call (973) 366-0629.
