Is there a sales recovery underway in commercial radio? RAB thinks so.
“Radio revenues rose across all sectors in November, signaling the anticipated fourth-quarter recovery and positioning the medium for continued growth into 2005,” the ad bureau stated in releasing its latest industry numbers.
Total radio revenue grew 4% for the month compared to November of last year. National dollars were up 7%, local 2% and non-spot revenue 7%.
Year-to-date, radio’s revenue (spot and non-spot) is up 3% compared to the first 11 months of 2003, RAB says.
