The NewRadio Group, which has a presence in the smaller and medium markets in the upper Midwest, is purchasing 22 radio stations in Wisconsin and Illinois and the Goetz Networks from Marathon Media.
As part of this growth, Jeff Winfield has joined the company as the Director of Programming. Winfield has been in radio for more than 17 years. He spent the past 14 years at KHAK(FM) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he served as Program Director for 10 years. Winfield was involved in the launch of KDAT(FM) under Quass Broadcasting Company, as well as the addition of KRNA(FM) to Central Star.
