OMT, Amb-OS Announce New Features for Users

Christian broadcasters are frequent users of the combination.

OMT Technologies and Amb-OS Media announced new features for Christian broadcasters who use the iMediaTouch Radio Automation System and the AMR-100 AMB-OS receiver.

“Amb-OS users who have upgraded to the latest UI developed for the AMR-100 receiver can now configure a Category setting on programs that are delivered by the receiver,” the companies said in a joint announcement.

“The category information is saved as Cart Chunk data on the audio files, and the iMediaTouch Auto Import module automatically ingests the files into specific categories inside the automation system’s database, as well as assigning cart numbers.”

The announcement was made by OMT Manager of Broadcast Sales and Marketing Jackie Tetlock and Amb-OS Media President Jim Sanders. The companies say the integration of iMediaImport and the Amb-OS system allows stations to divert labor to other tasks.

Amb-OS Media is an operating partnership headed by Ambassador Advertising Agency.
