One in 10 Stations Have Changed Format This Year; Spanish Is Top Pick

Ten percent of U.S. radio stations changed formats over the first half of 2003, BIA Financial Network Inc. finds.
The research firm said 666 stations in Arbitron-rated markets changed formats, with 23.9% changing to Spanish; 9.3% to Adult Contemporary; and 6.7% to news.
