Online radio ad service provider ReplaceAds is now a client for ratings service provider Arbitron, through Arb’s comScore/Arbitron Online Radio Ratings service.
ReplaceAds is a new service, owned by Jetcast Inc., that provides advertisements to online radio stations for insertion into the online streams. Currently, the ReplaceAds Advertising Network consists of more than 3,500 stations.
Bill Rose, senior vice president of marketing for Arbitron, said the agreement lets Arbitron provide a more complete picture of online radio consumption.
Jeff Pescatello, cofounder of ReplaceAds, stated: “Now advertisers can compare the size and impact of the ReplaceAds audience to other online and traditional radio vehicles.”
Initial results indicated that ReplaceAds was the third-largest online radio advertising network in the comScore/Arbitron Online radio ratings survey for October.
