Orban/CRL Augments Euro Operations

A new central processing center for Europe opens in mid-February, so Orban Europe will handle sales, orders, repairs and accounting for clients in the European Union. The company also plans to begin production and manufacturing of all Orban products in Germany this year.

Circuit Research Labs has made significant changes to its European operations.

Citing record growth in Europe since opening operations there six years ago, the company said it will additional manufacturing capacity in the region.

A new central processing center for Europe opens in mid-February, so Orban Europe will handle sales, orders, repairs and accounting for clients in the European Union. The company also plans to begin production and manufacturing of all Orban products in Germany this year.

It operates a technical and sales support center in the Netherlands and an R&D center near Stuttgart, Germany, that will handle sales support and engineering, order entry and accounting. The Amsterdam office will handle sales, marketing and customer service. Peter Lee is vice president of European operations and managing director for Orban Europe.

Company head Jay Brentlinger said these changes also mean dealers and customers can have direct contact for sales orders and customer support during European daytime hours.
