Sirius has revealed details of what it calls “the nation’s only 24/7 broadcast entertainment service for America’s Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community.” The channel is now on the air.
It first announced the new service in January at CES. The channel is called OUTQ; Sirius stream 149, debuted Monday.
Sirius estimates the potential audience at 15 million or more.
John McMullen is the program director and host. Personalities include Wayne Besen, Natalie Davis, Cary Harrison, Angelique Perrin, Michelangelo Signorile, Derek Hartley, Romaine Patterson, Corey Johnson and Tim Curran.
