Media investment analyst Jack Myers foresees radio advertising growing 6% to $20.7 billion in 2004, and another 2% the year after that. He puts radio’s share of the major-media ad pie at 11.6%.
The hottest growth next year, he believes, will be in local/regional cable TV, followed by local/national spot TV and network cable.
The biggest piece of the ad pie remains held by newspapers, but their share continues to decline.
The statistics are in the Jack Myers Media Investors Report.
