iHeartMedia has named Dan Lenz its market president for Milwaukee.

He’ll be responsible for all of the cluster’s operations, ranging from sales to programming.

For Lenz, the move is a promotion, as he has been with the company since 2017 and most recently was the market senior vice president of sales.

Nick Gnau, iHeartMedia’s division president, said Lenz’s work as a sales lead has been integral to the media company’s success in Milwaukee/Racine, which is the Nielsen ranked number 44 market.

Lenz will report to Gnau.

Jeff Tyler, the area president for iHeartMedia’s Milwaukee and Madison markets, retired in June after a 47-year career in radio.

In Milwaukee, iHeartMedia owns and operates classic hits 95.7 WRIT(FM), country 106.1 WMIL(FM), R&B 100.7 WKKV(FM), news/talk 1130 WISN(AM), sports 97.3 WRNW(FM) and sports 920 WOKY(AM). It also runs the Green Bay Packer Radio Network.
