Pilgrim Uses BW for Translators

Low cost of FM processor is found appealing

The Pilgrim Radio Network is using a BW Broadcast DSPXmini-FM SE Audio Processor to process audio fed to a network of six full-power stations and 42 translators.

Ian Perry is director of engineering for the network and purchased the unit from Doug Tharp of dealer SCMS after trying it on demo.

“It required very little tweaking and in my opinion outperforms many more expensive audio processors,” Perry told Tharp. He also commented favorably on its presets.

The unit retails for $1,500.

Pilgrim Radio Network broadcasts in the Intermountain West Region between the Rockies and Sierra Nevada. Its Christian talk and music programming is generated from corporate offices and studios in Carson City, Nev.
