Pristine Systems Adds 'Bad Bubba,' Other Enhancements

Pristine Systems is out with enhancements to its CDS-32 broadcast automation system. It now offers an increased level of script capability, as well as the ability to control multiple 8×2 router frames, up to 48 channels.
The system also includes a profanity delay buffer (“Bad Bubba”) that it says makes the use of an external delay unit unnecessary. The system also incorporates RDS text-messaging outputs, which can be associated with advertising messages. Its Web RDS+ system updates station web sites automatically, including artist photos and other graphics. The system also has expanded PDA control capabilities; it said an entire radio station can be controlled from a PDA through Pristine’s “Pocket Radio Station” software.
