iHeartMedia Expands Partnership With Amazon Ads

The media company is serving as a local reseller of its audio and video inventory

iHeartMedia has expanded its advertising relationship with Amazon Ads.

The media company is serving as a local reseller of its audio and video inventory including Prime Video, Twitch, Amazon Music, Fire TV and Alexa.

“Additionally, iHeartMedia customers can now leverage Amazon DSP including Amazon’s authenticated first-party shopping, browsing and streaming signals across iHeart’s owned-and-operated digital inventory both locally and nationally, including digital, audio, podcasts and creator-led content.”

The company said this agreement creates a more unified path for advertisers to launch multi-platform campaigns.

The announcement was made by iHeartMedia Chief Business Officer Lisa Coffey and Amazon Ads Head of Local Sales Jenn Donohue. Donohue said the agreement gives brands “new opportunities to connect with consumers across more screens and speakers with greater relevance and measurable outcomes.”

The agreement incorporates Amazon’s “authenticated signals” into iHeartMedia’s inventory, which “allows advertisers to access solutions supported by real shopping insights.”
