WNYC(FM)’s Radiolab is going on a 21-city tour. The Apocalyptical tour will feature hosts Robert Krulwich and Jad Abumrad discussing “cataclysmic destruction, life amid the ashes and surprising, spectacular survival” in the United States and Canada. The nationwide tour runs through October and November.

Accompanied by Brooklyn guitarist Noveller and composer Sarah Lipstate, Krulwich and Abumrad will take the audience through 200 million years of evolution, including the decimation of the dinosaur population with information “based on forensic ballistic testing and careful examination of the global fossil record,” according to a release.
