RAB to Offer Sessions at NAB Show

Pick up the sales strategies and techniques

The Radio Advertising Bureau plans four sessions for this year’s NAB Show in April.

As part of the Business of Broadcast conference, the sessions will “feature an array of radio and digital executives who will share their perspectives on increasing revenue with digital monetization strategies and alternative revenue concepts in today’s vast media landscape. Convention attendees will leave these sessions with strategies and concepts that can be executed readily in their various markets.”

The sessions for Monday, April 9, are: “Radio Engage” and “Small and Medium Market Radio and TV ‘Engage.’”

“Radio Engage” will focus on “essential strategies on recruiting tactics, creating effective ads, promotions and marketing ideas, digital monetization strategies and alternative revenue concepts.”

“Small and Medium Market Radio and TV ‘Engage’” looks at “case studies and successful revenue-generating ideas and strategies.”

On Tuesday, April 10, is “Radi From the Streets and the C-Suite.” RAB President and CEO Erica Farber engages with broadcast company leaders and top-performing broadcast salespeople to learn how the spirit and commitment at the top guides the passion and performance on the streets.

Wednesday, April 11, concludes the conference with “The New Breed of Radio Salespeople.” This session seeks to understand “the fundamentals and patterns of best sales techniques” and how sellers will then “experience less stress and frustration and find greater reward and fulfillment” knowing those techniques. In addition, such a “strategy combines on-air, online, on-site and on-demand advertising opportunities that maximize advertiser results and station revenues.”
