Local French station Radio Espace has signed with WinMedia to expand engagement using WinMedia Visual Radio.
“In a world of smartphones and tablets, we wanted our content to be available on all devices but also to offer a rich and compelling experience,” said Radio Espace CEO Christophe Mahé.
WinMedia Visual Radio is a software-based workflow that automates video production and acts like a human director, including automatically switching cameras.
WinMedia Visual Radio also features video content, making it possible to show video clips in sync with audio triggered by the audio table. When a video clip is broadcasting, an overlay is automatically displayed on screen as long as studio microphones are on. It enables multiplatform radio content intended for TV, Web and mobile consumption, merging music video and live presenters without extra staff.
WinMedia’s graphics solution is an integrated part of Visual Radio. WinPublish allows Radio Espace to add real-time graphics, including social media and news feeds to the video feed. Live text is simultaneously broadcasted on Radio Espace’s website, as well as on RDS and social networks.
Radio Espace primarily broadcasts dance hits, R&B and groove, as well as local news.
