The Radio France regional station in Aix-en-Provence has A.N.N Systems NewsWire OpenMedia in full operation, and more regional studios are being outfitted with the newsroom system.
Currently, 25 journalists in Aix-en-Provence produce 10 newscasts each day, including the main early, midday and evening shows. The whole project is part of the “plan bleu” to restructure and extend all 38 Radio France regional studios.
The studio in Aix-en-Provence was the laboratory in December 2000, followed by La Rochelle in January and Nancy in March. The next France Bleu station to go on air with NewsWire OpenMedia will be Chambéry in April.
By the end of 2002, all 38 regional studios are planned to be equipped.
