Radio Host Gets CNN TV Slot

Clark Howard gets some face time

Atlanta-based syndicated show host Clark Howard is getting a weekend slot on television with CNN starting in January.

Howard will be making use of material from his show and continuing a similar format of financial and consumer advice. The show, “Clark Howard,” will air in 30-minute pairs multiple times on Saturdays and Sundays.

The show will copy much of Howard’s radio content with money-saving tips along with callers seeking advice and providing grist for his mill. “The Clark Howard Show” airs from WSB(AM) in Atlanta. Clark will also have a presence on the CNN Web page.

“I’m so excited to give ‘Headline News’ viewers the opportunity to learn how to take control of their wallets.” said Howard.

CNN exec Ken Jautz called Howard a “straight shooter who we believe will help cut through the clutter.”
