Radio One Names General Counsel; Promotes Vilardo

John W. Jones was named VP and general counsel of Radio One Inc., effective in December.
Jones is returning to the company where he was associate general counsel for two years before leaving in 2003 to take a position with TV One, where he is general counsel.
Radio One also promoted current general counsel Linda J. Vilardo to chief administrative officer. She will assist CEO Alfred C. Liggins III with acquisitions and strategic investments, and legislative and regulatory projects.
