Netia says the latest release of Radio-Assist 7.5 software suite features integration of its U-Share network management system and a Feed-In IP mode for scheduling of automatic recordings of external programs.
The company says U-Share eases the distribution of audio content from one site to multiple sites. It automates the exchange of content over IP transport or DVB video transport. Other content exchanges can be organized according to priority with flexible options for setting and modifying transmission schedules.
Feed-In IP mode allows users to record continuous RTP inputs or scheduled programs without a sound card. A total of eight inputs can be simultaneously recorded per computer.
Additionally, customized Axia IP-Audio networking components are bundled with Radio-Assist to allow audio workstation PCs running Windows to send audio to an Axia network from its network interface card.
